About Floral Atlas
Have you ever walked out into the fields in the early hours of the morning, stopped dead in your tracks, and realized you didn't want to move a single muscle?
You just wanted to stand there, completely still, and watch the wild flowers dancing in the morning wind.
Hi, I’m Enikő. For over a decade, I worked as a florist inside busy London flower shops, surrounded by rows of beautiful cut stems. But even after handling flowers every single day, that quiet magic of the fields never left me.
I kept wondering: Where do these flowers actually come from? When and where do they truly belong in the wild?
Floral Atlas was born from that curiosity. This project is my way of slowing down, paying attention, and sharing the natural world with you.
More Than Just a Map—It’s Your Next Adventure
Floral Atlas is a living, breathing botanical travel blog, marketplace, and community space.
Whether you are looking for weekend hiking inspiration, planning a journey abroad, or looking for beautiful art, you can find it all here.
Shared History: Let's Write the Stories Together
I don't want to learn the history of these plants from a library—I want to learn it from you.
Every flower has a story, folklore, a local nickname, or a traditional healing use handed down through generations. At the bottom of every blog post and trail guide, you will find a comments section.
I invite you to leave a comment:
Share your family's stories, your local traditions from anywhere of the world or a memory a specific bloom brings back to you. Let's map the world's blooms—and their histories—together.
